1999 Tail lights
Discovered an issue with my tail lights. Brake lights work unless I turn the park lights on, then no brake lights. I replaced the brake light switch and it created a new problem. Lost my left brake light (right works), but the right side tail light stays on all the time, even when lights/vehicle are off. Any thoughts?
I think your problem is in the ground pathways or even the sockets for the rear lights, not a switch problem Now you have the brake light switch that is out of adjustment or just plain bad on top of your existing problem. Recheck your work, make sure the switch is adjusted correctly and is not bad, then trace out the grounds, make sure they are clean and tight then make sure your sockets are in good working condition, a good test meter can really help on this but a test light will do.
