1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, clicks, no power
My wife wrecked my 99 jeep grand cherokee. The
front end was damaged. Hood bent, radiator
pushed in, lights cracked, and maybe a few other
Knicks. She said after someone hit her, it drove for
a few minutes then shut off. She had it towed to
When I try to start it, it clicks really fast, the dash
lights barely flicker, and the gauges go haywire.
The radio and power windows do not work.
Any idea what the problem could be?
Sounds like the battery is low / almost dead. Fast clicking occurs when the battery does not have sufficient charge to engage the starter. If the hood is bent, the light under the hood may have drained the battery or the battery / cables may be damaged from the wreck.
