Cooling system

Asked by Dec 31, 2013 at 04:09 AM about the 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced water pump and
radiator,  it's not overheating fluid
levels are fine in radiator and
overflow tank and is blowing hot air,
but the low coolant light is on
meaning low fluid in engine? And
blower motor on heater is louder
than usual. Temp gauges seem
normal , but something's def wrong
car sounds horrible could it be
plugged up somewhere in cooling
system, or faulty thermostat? I did
put stop leak in to try to fix old
radiator and didn't flush it when
putting new one in

Check the sensor on the low level sensor on the cooling reservoir, it might be dirty from the stop leak. Then replace the coolant and bleed the system of air. See if the noise goes away.
