1999 Audi A4 2.8 quattro with 180,000 and I need advice
So I just bought an audi a4 1999 with 180,000 (I
know not the smartest decision) while I was
driving it back the fuel pump went out, I took it to a
shop and they say they need to replace the front
axle cv joints, rear brake pad and rotors, and
windshield wipers in order to pass inspection.
So my question is that if anybody has any
experience with an audi with that many miles, do
you think that if I replace all of this it might run for
at least the rest of the year? Its been in the
previously mentioned shop over 30 times for
matenance and small things so I know its been at
least taken care of under the hood.
Again will this last me to at least 200,000? Without
having to dump more money in? I know its hard to
say but if you could give a guesstimate.
omg- I get tired of saying this- do NOT buy old Audis- unless you have a lot of money you don't need, get rid of it, quick- do anything- push it off a cliff if you have to-
LOL, Brad, you should be good for a couple of days. Then something else might give you a problem, so no guarantees of any kind. It will last as long as you want to dump money into it.
Well I mean could've gone without the attitude but alright
you are right- I apologize- Brad- please forgive me- that was about the 5th Audi question I looked at today-
