I have a 97 jeep grand Cherokee full time 4wheel drive and my front right cv joint snapped.. have too drive. Can I just pull the axle and drive on just the back two wheels? ? Or would that cause more problems? ?

I believe you would lose your lubrication in the front diff. The half shaft has a seal into the diff. Would be like driving with the diff plug out. Best of luck to ya
