So my mother drove my jeep and my radiator has a leak in it but she forgot to check it so she drove it empty and it overheated really bad and now it's runny awful idles horribly and cylinder #1 and #4

She might have warped the heads from overheating the engine. For how high the labor costs would be to machine the heads and remove the whole top end off the motor you might look into a used engine.

blowen between the clyenders replace the head gasket. you can get used engine for about 350.00 to 500.00 used from savage yard
