gauge cluster dead, stereo controls dead, dim lights in cabin, drivers side front window dead, sunroof not working...where do i begin diagnosing this major electrical fault?

checked fuses by passenger side door and under hood and all seem to be good.

Make sure your battery is grounded well. I would still use some of the extra fuses and swap the ones relating to your areas out.
