throttle body sensor

i have a 96 jeep cherokee laredo 4wd  .have tried too fit the after market part  throttle body sensoe
made by company wells.it fits onto throttle body fine the other end  where connector is   original
connector is too  large and wont fit.what can i do?

I think you have the wrong part. They had 2 different sensors for your model year. With or without OBDII. 1996 was the year the new OBDii system was implemented. So early Jeeps had the without, and later jeep, with. You probably have the 2L9 sensor, you need the 5N4.
