can i put 20" rims with low profile tires on my 95 grand jeep cherokee without getting a lift kit

Why??? Aren't Jeeps for off road? Rocks & or rough terrain pop low profile sidewalls.

It will also ride like crap.

20" rims? maybe if off-road or rough terrain tires like BFG TA's or Dick Cepeck are used with a bigger profile. I used lage 36" dia. tires on 17" Center Line wheels on a Jeep CJ-5. It went anywhere.
