I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it will shut down when I'm going down the road

when I'm driving down the road it will shut down. I still have lights, radio, ect. but have to let it set for some amount of time before it starts. Sometimes it want start in Park, have to put in neutral.

The shutting down could be the crank sensor as they are a known problem, the no crank in park could be the nuetral safety switch getting ready to fail, as you stat d it will crank in nuetral and not park at times.
