I have noise from the front end when driving over bumps, a mechanic said it was the pitman arm. I don't see how since it doesn't go up and down, could he mean the drag link where they join?

My 2000 Jeep GC, front end feels like I am driving on flat tires, and yes they are at the correct pressure....................lo... any ideas on what cause the problem.................Thanks
