THE CAR CLICKED; REPLACED THE BATTERY; THE FIRST TIME I TRIED TO START IT: IT STILL CLICKED, THEN STARTED.

Starter is going bad replace starter.

Follow the positive battery cable from the battery terminal to the other end of cable it will be connected to the starter.
