Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My vehicle has a fast coolant leak. I drove it for
about 10 minutes and started to see white smoke.
What could be the issue? Any suggestions?

That sucks man, well there could be a few culprits n the main n worst one is a blown head gasket.. usually when you see white smoke coming from your exhaust that means your getting coolant in the combustion chamber and burning out threw the exhaust hence the white smoke...besides doing a pressure test there's a few things you can check to determine if it's your head gasket.. 1-Unscrew oil cap n check if you have a white residue on under side of the cap. 2- Pull oil dipstick and see what your oil looks like..is it brown/black like normal or does it look like a chocolate milkshake 3- Unscrew radiator cap and have someone start your car, Now watch the radiator if WHILE THE CARS RUNNING your seeing bubbles in radiator/overflow bottle then that means your getting combustion pressure in your coolant system which usually points to a blown head gasket. Good luck n let me know what you find.
