Starting issues

Asked by Slick1109 Apr 20, 2018 at 04:38 PM about the 1993 Honda Civic del Sol 2 Dr S Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Some days my car will start and run
fine and then there are days when it
won't start at all. The engine will turn
over but it wouldn't start, as if it is not
getting fuel. I was told it was the
computer so I replaced it with a used
one off eBay. That did not fix my
problem. Now I'm afraid to drive it
somewhere and then when I leave it
won't start again. Please help I don't
want to get rid of my favorite car.

The main relay, sometimes called accessories relay might be failing. This can stop the fuel pump from starting. Also the distributor that houses the crank sensor might be failing .
