2001 audi tt in shop twice for just dieing while driving...any ideas
well, what did the shop tell you? and did you just bring it back to the same shop after they didn't fix the problem or did you just go back to give them more of your hard earned money? was it a credited Volkswagen repair shop or just that guy down the street that gives you a good deal? if the answer to either one of those is the latter then try again. this car isn't a Buick. there are hundreds of sensors that, unfortunately, go bad often. the motor could be shutting off for a hundred different reasons. bad fueling, o2 sensors, ecu shorting... anything. Joe down the street isn't going to look for the right thing or have the right software to search for it. Look for a shop in your area who know's what they are doing. If possible, one with a VAG-COM, which is a communicator tool for Volkswagens. They will have better experience with your car.
