The battery in my 2001 Audi A8 is dead andI cannot open the trunk to charge it, is there another way?

You can try a jump box with a 12v receptacle, just hook the jump box up to your cigarette lighter.it will give you enough power to pop the trunk using the trunk release button.

if you look closely it should have a key hole, next to where the button is, it is just hidden...

charles; hey everyone i just popped the trunk of my 02 audi a8 with a dead battery and the easiest way to get in without all the headache and stress is through your ski boot in the middle of your back seat get a flashlight and a long enough stick look straight to the back of your trunk and your emergency release lever is just above where your lock is your owners manual will show how it looks use your stick and push it down and presto!!!!!!!
