does the bolt on transmission pan have a nutplate?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i took the bolt out of the transmission pan to change the fluid and now the bolt just wobbles around in the hole when i try to reinstall it

The bolt is there only to remove the trans fluid before dropping the pan to replace the filter. Putting new fluid in helps nothing because the filter is still contaminated. You pull the plug to drain the fluid so you can replace the filter with very little mess to clean up.
