on my 2004 1500 sierra the horn will not sound if the steering wheel is centered. If I turn the wheel 30 degrees either way from center the horn sounds
I have had the clock spring replaced and the symptoms are the same. There are four
pivot points that press on an aluminum hub that is grounded by the steering wheel nut.
It seems I am losing ground when the wheel is centered but I don't see how. Can you help

There's usually a (ground) wire with a flat end that is spring loaded under the steering wheel. Sounds like the wire is losing contact with the underside of the steering wheel as the wheel is turned. HTH. -Jim
