I have a 98 Gmc Sierra 1500 5.7 it wont start. it turns over thats it. i check to see if my fuel pump was engageing and it is. what else could be wrong?

They are known to give a lot of trouble with the Distributer cap, whenever it is damp, try drying it out, or replace it
