90 ranger won't start
When I turn the key to run has power as soon as it
is turned to start it dies (looses power ) no spark
Possible Ignition Control Module, take it out and have it tested at Auto Zone.
I replaced that and the coil
Remove and clean battery post connections.
I tryed put a new one in it still was nothing it will trun over with a screwdriver in cyilonoid but has no fire still
Are you checking for spark from out of the coil?
I checked spark from the plug wires
Should check from the source of the spark, the coil. But any way a possibility is that the pin on the distributor gear may have sheard holding the geare in place on the distributor shaft. Just take the cap off and try twisting the rotor, see if it will move.
Will do but what would make it not trun over by the key a
Bad solenoid, no power going threw the small wire to the solenoid meaning possible bad ignition switch or neutral safety switch, or even the starter relay.
Ok Ima try these things
