Ford ranger 1990

Asked by Jul 02, 2016 at 02:25 PM about the 1990 Ford Ranger S Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought a 1990 for ranger with manual 5 speed Tranny. Drive great for 5
days and then wouldn't start. Will crank over but no fire. After I stop cranking I
can hear and see fuel hitting the ground from somewhere. Any help is greatly
appreciated

That's your issue then, fuel hitting the ground means you don't have enough fuel pressure to start the truck. Find the leak and repair properly, the fuel lines are under pressure. Once is fixed your truck should start again. Be careful around the fuel, you don't want a fire.

What would be the best way to repair the line?
