i have a 1995 gmc sierra 1500 2x4 i want to swap engine transmission and driveshaft and rear end and make it 4x4. what do you recommend?
would like to swap 1995 5.7 4x2 to a 5.7 4x4. i want to swap the transmission
to a 4l80e for sure and add a transfer case of course to make it 4x4 i know it
will cost some money but this is a project.
By a rolling chassis or a whole truck with the drivetrain you are looking for that would be the one to start with
Like I said I have a 1995 gmc 1500 with a 5.7 in it but it's 2x4
The frame is different due to the front suspension so like the first guy said buy a rolling chassis or a different truck
Sale that one and buy a 4x4 way easier less money
4X4 add-on parts or a 1995 GM 4X4 doner truck & or chassis will be so expensive (but possible) with an unlimited budget. You will need everything, shifters & linkage, transfere case, dirvelines, matching front differential, springs & mounts, shocks, brakes, etc. etc. etc. Better to sell yours & buy what you want,
