Can I replace my electronic transmission with a vacuum transmission in my
1994 gmc sierra

It's usually best to go with what the vehicle was designed for , Replacing an old worn tranny with an old worn tranny makes little sense

You can but with quite a bit of difficulty. You fuel mileage will suffer greatly, the check engine light will be on all the time, among other problems. Not worth doing really.

Since this is an OBD I vehicle I'm not sure if the check engine light will come on. I don't think the ECM monitors the transmission. But fuel economy would probably suffer and modifications would need to be made for the older transmission to fit. Personally I don't think it's worth it. Hope that helps! Jim
