Asked by Jun 30, 2015 at 01:55 AM about the 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 K1500 SLE 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got a 94 GMC 1500 4x4 Extended Cab & I  put all new brake & brake cylinders &
brake line all the way to the master cylinder also I replace the brake line on the front,
with new rotors, brake caliper & pads on my Truck & after I was done bleeding all the
brake I still had no brake. What am I doing wrong?

pump the brakes look for a leak somewhere

I have done all of that & no leak

sometime a new master cylinder is very hard to get all air out , thats why they give you tubeing with it to bench bleed the master cylinder

From what I am reading you have rear drum brakes did you adjust the shoes out to lightly touch the drums. There should be a slight drag when you spin the axle.

I didn’t put a new master cylinder only ran new line up it Joe
