how do you cover the hole thats on the side seat belt panel that bolts to the body?
I just removed the seat belts in my 1994 sieerra 1500 and the hole where the seat belt
that conects to the cars body by your head is pretty big and anoying and i was wondering
what and how do you fill the anoying hole up with? how do you caver a hole thats in
Use a rubber body plug. You can get them at any local auto parts store. You might have to enlarge the hole to get one to fit. But why did you remove the seat belts to begin with?
takin' the seat belts out! That's somethin' a fool like me would do!! Let's go back in time when cars didn't have seat belts- or padded dashboards- can you imagine the dental work- those were the good old days
You get another seat belt assembly and have it installed. This would be my only except able choice. Seat belts save lives.
what im trying to do is to install seats out of a 99-2007 silverado seats that already have the seat belts in them
OK nosmo- we are just trying to be responsible, here, and keep people safe- now tell me that you are going to anchor those new seat belts to the body- you aren't giving us much info- sounds as if you think the seats anchor the seat belts?! That won't work- why aren't you going to use the existing anchor points for the new seat belts? are you thinking of drilling new holes in the body?
Ok. Another possible option. Is to find an upholstery shop that does vehicle interiors. They should be able to come up with something that will cover these holes and also look real good.
