egine will only run when spraying starter fluid into the fuel injcted carberator how do i check whether its the fuel pump or the injectors

I pulled the line from the inline fuel filter and had a stream of gas when turning the engine over but dont
know if the psi is too weak to deliver

Try replace with a known good injector(used), or new. Have you tried re-building the carburator? Could be internal float is bad?

a 93 should be fuel injected so you would need about 55psi fuel pressure for it to run.. try smacking the gastank with a rubber mallet while cranking it and see if it starts but those did have fuelpump issues..
