Doesn't start

The truck was parked, engine off, and some
tapped the trailer hitch receiver, no damage,  
but the truck now just spits and sputter. Is
there any sensors or something that would
cut the fuel?

If you think it is a fuel issue, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. If tbi fuel injection, 9--13 psi.
