1990 bronco

Asked by Aug 03, 2016 at 06:03 PM about the 1990 Ford Bronco Custom 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1990 Ford bronco that has a supercharged
302 in it. It has been sitting for quite some time,
but I have drop the fuel tank and replaced with a
new replaced fuel lines and all fuel pumps. The
Bronco will start when I turn the ignition and will
rev as long as I have the ignition turn to the crank
position, but as soon as I let go of the ignition the
motor dies. Immediately when I start to crank it it
fires right back up and does the same thing....?
Does anyone have any ideas how to get this thing
running or what I need to check next? Thanks for
your help

Sounds like either the ignition switch is out of adjustment or is just plain going bad.
