I just bought a 1992 prime time 250 dodge van

driving and heard water shooting out pulled over fast
I believe a freeze plug burst !! now I go back and fix it   how

Freeze plugs just get pushed or tapped into place. Access to them is usually the problem.

I remember ones that had a rubber grommet that expanded when you tightened the nut , Don't know if they still make them
