What other car's alternator will fit a ford festiva 1991? Having problem finding a festiva at the wreckers.

The Festiva was on its own it didn't use any of the other Ford platforms, so you kinda stuck. Did any of the local wrecking yards try "hot-lining" one for you? If your not in a hurry you can try E bay.

Thanks for that. I was wondering if the Mazda 121 alternator would fit.


Never saw a Mazda 121, was that like a GLC?

Yeah very similar.


121 was only available in the UK? or something, right? Just like the Kia Pride, Saipa, etc. But yeah, 90-93 is it my friend. Check out www.fordfestiva.com or the FB page (exactly the same "site" just on fb) and ask for one for sale. Plenty of great people and hopefully you can find someone closeby with one.
