Ford Bronco stalling while driving

Asked by Mar 23, 2017 at 11:59 AM about the 1991 Ford Bronco XLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Starts well, but shuts off when I'm turning
or at a slow pace. Will shut off at times at a
stop light, but not always, it is intermittent.
I have checked fuel pump and relay switch,
and I have sound at the switch of the key.
Could it be the regulator?

Here are a few common problems, power steering pressure switch inoperative, this switch sends a signal to the ECM and it idles up the engine during slow speed turns, IAC valve sticky or slow to respond, sometimes a good cleaning will help, also check the throttle body, make sure it is clean and the air rate has not been messed with, TPS has a bad spot in the sweep, this can only be seen on an ohm meter connected up properly, check the memory codes for anything that might indicate an erratic ignition signal.
