91 bronco won't start
Truck wont turn over, Everything comes on
but wont even try to turn over. New
ignition, new solenoid under the hood on
fender, new solenoid on the starter,
ignition/starter switch under the column is
new. Still it will not crank with the ignition i
have the jump the solenoid with a
screwdriver. What could it be.
Confused, here- did you replace the starter itself? I thought the starter solenoid on these old Fords is mounted on the fender not on the starter- look, if you can start it with a screwdriver, it has to be the starter/solenoid- get new ones, not rebuilt ones-
Yes I have replaced it 3 times in the finder wall. Type o regarding the starter soleniod. Any other ideas
I'm chasing a similar problem with my 87 5.8. Rebuilt alternator, new battery, rebuilt ignition. Can not keep it started. After talking with friends, seems to be a somewhat common problem
