92 dodge b250

Asked by Jul 19, 2017 at 02:01 PM about the 1992 Dodge RAM 250 2 Dr LE Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 92 b250 with a 318 and have replaced
almost everything including crankshaft position
sensor, 02 sensor, spark plugs and wires,
distributor and coil, fuel pump, idle air control
valve, ecm, and many more sensors. I've even
replaced the transmission. Im tired of going
through lists of other peoples solutions and
wasting money. The van is easy to start cold until it
warms up and stalls. Once its warm it takes a lot of
throttle to get it started and and dies if you put it in
gear. Drives great till it gets up to temp and the
temp gauge also isn't working even after replacing
that sensor. It was very good running until we
replaced the valve cover gaskets and my dad
tightened up the nuts on the valve springs just to
break them loose and i could really use some
advice or else im just gonna take it to my
mechanic and give up
