I have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan and i recently replaced my blow motor for my heat, because it would some times come on and some times not. My blower is still acting funny. what else could it be? I got in my van today and it did not wanna work.
it could be the "Blower Resistor"...these usually fail by putting themselves fully ON...with no mid or low settings~...they are a resistor...and Will blow eventually~....recommend that you test your blower resistor and replace it if it's not doing what it should...OPEN or not giving all the selections...could take a multi-meter and just test the output....as it goes into the fan motor~ then replace the blower resistor~ here's one for like 15 bucks...worth a try~ http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/1892-05317522.html? utm_content=DN&utm_term=2001- 2007+Dodge+Grand+Caravan+HVAC+Blower+Motor+Resistor+ Kit+Dorman+01- 07+Dodge+HVAC+Blower+Motor+Resistor+Kit+2003+2002&utm _source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+G oogle+Base&gclid=Cj0KEQiA0Na1BRDlkqOcyczng5cBEiQAnED a2CAdwDBLBt6kI6eppyW8mO2d- rpUg1AhE3GIOTo7qLwaAljJ8P8HAQ
Thanks but I already replaced the motor behind the glove box. It still doesn't work some days and some days it does wanna work. Is there something else that I should be looking at?
