I have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan SE. It is a 3.3L. I recently have been
having problems with my power steering. I filled it with a bottle of power
steering fluid. By the time I reached my destination, it was hard to turn again.
So I put in another bottle. Nothing drips, but as soon as I turned on my car, it
all leaked out. straight down. a little foamy. what is wrong?
You can try adding some Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak but if leak is to big the leak would have to be fixed first. And yes that is the only time it will leak out when vehicle is started that is when the system is under pressure.
thank you. So if it does still leak, what new part would I have to buy?
Not actually being there to see were it is leaking would just be guessing best to take to a good mechanic to determine were the leak is coming from.
