I have replaced the radiator and the
thermostat. And yet it still over heats . how
do I fix this issue so I can make my kids drs.
most likely will be sensor. put a computer on it and see if the motor is actually over heating. sometimes it will say it is but actually isnt. i may be totally wrong but seen this happen a few times.
If it is actually overheating and not doing what mawh has suggested do a good cooling system flush. Cooling ports in engine block could be clogged. Prestone Super Flush is really good.
are the radiator cooling fans coming 'on.' If not change the fan switch relay... on most model years, it's on the driver-side, wheel well... accessible under the battery box. You'll have to remove the battery and battery box tray to get to it easily. held on my two sheet metal bolts. Use heat sink compound underneath the new one against the surface and bolt it on. Remove the connection after you take it off as it's easier to see it to avoid breaking the plastic tab/nibs.
