im going through transmission fluid

im going through transmission fluid,,an when i back up its like the parking brake
is on..but its not an it makes a rough noise like my tires are getting stuck why
does it do that is my transmission going out

If it is leaking out fluid as fast as you are adding fluid, then you are damaging the transmission by driving around. Heat is a killer of transmissions and without fluid, heat builds up quickly. Since you already have rough noises and the transmission not moving, I would say your transmission is cooked and your looking at installing another transmission in the van if you want to keep it. I would recommend a used one for cost.
