engine swap

1992 ford ranger  2.9 v6   4x4  original engine may have  cracked head or bad head
gasket idk .    my question  is what other v6 ford can  I swap out to fit my  truck trans
and wiring will work , if any  its a 5 spd  trans 4x4 , THANKS

Unless you want to do a whole lot of work your stuck with the V6. At one time you could buy a V8 conversion kit and put in a Ford 302, but they were also a lot,of work getting that one in properly, plus you had a lot of wiring modifying to do.
