I have a 2004 pt cruiser that as soon as the check engine light comes on while im.driving the car stops on me. It turned off on me several times and sometimes it take time to turn back on. Help

Check engine light is on for a reason, there is a fault code stored and you need to correct it. Scan the car for codes at your local auto parts store and post the codes back here. If you don't want to work on the car yourself, your local mechanic can help get your car running like new again. It could be a hundred different things what the light is on and your car stalling.
