Stopped Running & won't start or even turn over!

Asked by Nov 03, 2014 at 09:12 AM about the 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 PT Cruiser, and it just died... It won't do anything now. I don't think it's the
timing belt, but I don't know. Seems electrical...  I just bought the battery 4 months ago &
even changed out the starter relay fuse.
Somebody help!!!

How is the starter? Even if the battery is new it's possible that it is defective. Suspect everything assume nothing.

We tapped on the starter & nothing happened. I will have to take the battery in & get it checked!

Pull the starter and have it checked at the same time.

Do you know how hard it is to get to the starter?
