Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 PTC.  When idling at a traffic light, the car would almost jerk and I would my
A/C would fluctuate in and out.  The sensor light came on; I look up the code and replaced
it.  Now, a few seconds after starting my car, it sounds like a “flap” closing under the hood
and I have little to no A/C.  Can you help?

First of all what did you replace?

Cam Positioning..whatever that is.

Cam Position sensor, monitors what valves are open or closed.. one of sources of data to tell the ECU when to inject fuel in a cylinder

thanaks for the answer, but waht is the "flap closing?"
