2002 pt cruiser

Asked by Nov 08, 2016 at 03:43 PM about the 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced the ignition actuator because I was
unable to turn on the car and keep it on.
Now it still does the same thing. When I attempt to
turn it on the engine light, oil light, &
battery light come up. What could it be?

Is it cranking at all when you turn key to start, Check for engine codes

Yes it cranks for a bit then dies. Im sorry how do I look for the engine code?

You need a code reader, OBD2 scanner. You can buy one at ur local auto parts store. The car runs but shuts off correct? or is it not doing anything (not cranking)

It runs for a few seconds and then shuts off.

Replace fuel filter and check fuel pressure
