I have to add coolant every time I drive

Asked by GuruZ22XV Aug 31, 2019 at 10:53 AM about the 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have to add coolant every time I drive. Have had a complete flush, replaced radiator, replaced cooling fan (doesn't get hot anymore) & relays. Radiator still gurgles and I have to add coolant. Can't use A/C or heater. Don't know what else to do.

Gurgling is probably air in the cooling system coming from the engine. You probably have a leaks in the head gasket or cracks in a head.

Head gasket leaks are my guess.
