Why does my 2001 Pt cruiser bust the radiators? Second this year....

I was having the same fan issue that everyone else had and we straight wired it, and now the radiator is busted again. I don't know why or how.... I'm lost. I think maybe the missing motor blot maybe letting the motor hit the radiator? is this possible?
