How do I take out the presure switch on the back of the ac compresor after I remove the snapring

Are replacing the switch or the compressor? If you are replacing the compressor I would advise you to replace the switch at the same time, if you are replacing just the switch, then usually the little rubber seal bonds itself to the compressor body, sometimes a little penetrating oil and a lite tap then a slight turning pulling motion does the trick but usually the plastic top breaks off and you have windup having to just get physical and dig it out in pieces.
