If you changed the Fuel Pump (I did also), since is starting well but shuting down right after, it could be the FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ( I also changed it -very easy to do it yourself and cheap part). I bought a can of STARTING FLUID that will help you get your car running (follow the instructions in the can or find a YouTube video, it's very easy to do ), to do the following step. I would also see if the fuel injectors are clogged, but before you change them try cleaning them; (they are about $25 dollars each and could be hard to change depending on your engine) I cleaned mine adding GUMOUT to a full tank of gasoline, let the car run and drive it around your neighborhood in case it shuts down by itself again, reason why I let mine run for a few hours in front of my house with perfect results, now it starts perfectly and runs very smooth. I would check the SPARK PLUGS; if you need to change them make sure they are the best, I prefer Titanium, which are about $7 dollars each but worth the expense; BUT, make sure they have the right gap, for my 1992 New Yorker, the gap is 0.050 (buy the measuring wheel tool is only 94 cents in Walmart.. I use ROCKAUTO.com to order all my parts, they are half the price of Advance and the other "regular" auto parts. See SCOTTY KILMER" in YouTube, he has a channel end teaches how to do all of the above with good video and sound, he is excellent. Be patient, do one thing at the time.
