How do I reset the cat for smog?

Hi I have a 2000 Chrysler grand Voyager that I
have been trying to smog but can't seem to get
the cat to set for diagnostics on smog any
ideas please

You cannot reset a catalytic converter. If it is bad you must replace it.

If you have had the catalytic converter replaced and need to have the readiness monitor reset you need to drive normally for a few days with the gas gauge between three quarters and one quarter full. Otherwise the computer will not run the diagnostics on the catalytic converter to set the readiness monitor for the catalytic converter. Hope that helps! Jim
