Can anyone tell me where the inertia switch is on a Probe GL 1992?

Asked by Nov 29, 2012 at 01:15 PM about the 1992 Ford Probe GL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I hit a large pothole really hard with the back passenger tire and my car just died. I have asked a couple of mechanics and they tell me it is probably the inertia switch. I need to locate it.

Try the left side of the trunk. It might be behind / under the carpet.
