My Radio won't turn on at all on my 2006 Honda Civic. And My head lights only turns on when the car is on. What might be the problem to it?

Went to work and everything was working fine. Came back out after work and
started the car, but the radio lights won't on at all. I don't know anything about
cars so i didn't do anything to fix myself and then a couple days later i realized
that the headlights won't turn on unless the car is on. What could be the
problem?

Might be a fuse or a relay but your ignition switch might be faulty. Electrical issues with cars can be very difficult to diagnose. If you have some cash, make an appointment at your local Honda dealership and have them diagnose it for you.

About 3 weeks ago I went to start up my 2009 Honda Civic Sedan lx and lights came on and everything but wouldn't start. On the third time trying to start it none of the lights came on, so I changed the battery. I tried starting it with the new battery, all lights came on perfectly, but it wouldn't turn over. I changed the starter and the car ran fine with no problems for maybe 2 weeks. This morning I was driving down the road when the check engine light came on and the engine suddenly started to rev up uncontrollably. I was able to brake but it was very hard to do because the engine kept revving. Without my foot on the brake the car was going 30 something mph, when I braked and got below 15 I felt a hard downshift. Has anyone had these simliar problems or know what might have cause this kind of behavior? 3 Answers
