My 2006 honda is having problems starting
Hey everyone! I'd much appreciate it if someone could help me out to understand this
a little better before I go to a repair shop.
My honda has been having problems starting when I try to start it right after I turn it
off. It will make a sound like its trying to turn over, but then it just goes to nothing. The
more I try to turn the key, the less of a reaction the car gives. The only thing that
helps start it is just waiting. It will usually start fine after 15-30 minutes resting.
Thank you in advance!
Sounds to me like a battery issue. How old is your battery? Could be it will crank the engine, then needs to 'recover' before putting out enough to start engine again.
I had the same issue in 2013 at 168,518 miles and I had to replace my starter....and this is after having a new battery installed...
I am having this same problem. Waiting a few minutes and starting it up again had been working, well until this morning. It wouldn't start at all. Mechanic said it is the starter. Cost $321.
